2018 Season

Padthaway Budget Note 21/4/18

Tammy Creaser - Saturday, April 21, 2018

With a windy day at rooster land for our first home game for the year, we saw three teams get the win. The Junior Colts came up against a strong side and struggled to worry the scorers but I am sure they will improve. The Senior Colts remained unbeaten with a solid win. Our Ressies came through a low scoring affair on top to get their season going and the A graders had a very good win. The club rooms was the place to be after the game with our jumper presentations and Quentin spinning some tracks. Jack Mack didn’t like the music and judges gave him a 10 for both difficulty and entry. It was great to see plenty of Naracoorte players come in for a drink afterwards and we will see you later on in the year.

The Junior Colts had their first game for 2018 and had an educational day, the best players were Ladies Committee Award Lachy Glynn, Tatiara Industrial Repairs Award Daniel Will, Jolpac Rural Supplies Award Max McLellan, Tatiara Driver Training Award Amon Hampel, Bordertown Fruit Market Award Henry Dahlitz, Limestone Coast Freight Award Harry Hayes, Neil and Pam Murch Award Jordan Owen. Keep your heads up boys and keep listening to Harvs, just ignore his horse tips though.

Best players for Senior Colts in their win was Ladies Committee Award Tyson Leigh, Poole’s Menswear & Surf Award Lachlan Makin, Murch Plumbing & Roofing Award Mark Shaw, Optimum Cut Award Lachy Murch who will most probably get a cut ‘n’ colour, Wickham Flower Award Billy Whittlesea, Ray White Real Estate Award Will Francis and Blackwell Plumbing Award Thomas Belluzzo.

The Ressies best players were Upper SE Liquid Waste/Creaser Haulage & Bobcat Award Brent Lodewyk, Shane Redden Kitchens/Norton Bulk Haulage Award Dylan Ware, Bordertown Pharmacy Award/ Will Inspect Award Shaun Francis, Cut Loose Hair & Body Lounge Voucher Bradley Lodewyk, Ladies Meal Voucher Bram Whittlesea.

A Grade bests were Jolpac Rural Supplies/Wise Ford Award Steven Copestick, Densley Earthmoving/ Wickham Flower Award Rory Tink, AWE Richards Meat Voucher Cam Sandercock, Optimum Cut Hair Voucher Sam Sandercock, Bordertown Pharmacy Award Brad Paech, Ladies Committee Meal Voucher Jacob Eats. Keep the form going into this week boys. Keep your head up Matty Leigh, before you know it you will be out having a kick again, bigger and better.

Don’t forget we have our Goods and Services Auction on the 12th of May, so get your donations and ideas into Noods or Norts asap. Hopefully Noods has cooled down from his 3 goal haul last week, great to see some young talent coming through the club.

The club rooms will be open after the game today, so let’s get a few wins on the board and get back to the roost.
