Last week we played the Kyby tigers and came away with just the one win. I would like to give a special mention to our junior colts who came up against a team that has mercy ruled every side they have come up against this year and our lads were able to keep the game going for the whole four quarters. This shows the determination and improvement these lads are showing it is exciting for the future of our club. Harry Houdini's lads had the game of the day, they all worked so hard for four quarters but inaccurate kicking towards goal proved to be the difference going down by 2 points. Mal's Magicians had a couple back in the side and played a good team game this made it a great spectacle to watch. Trenner's Terriers had another slow start which is starting to become a bit of a habit although they fought hard the last three quarters to make it a more even contest. Well where do I begin on our Saturday night antics! I would like to thank the Social Committee, our special guest judges Belinda Pepper Ladies Committee President, Jeffrey Poole of Pooles Men's Wear and Surf Bordertown and Tracey Lamshed of Blue Belle Boutique in Hahndorf and of course our sexy ladies for putting on a fantastic Miss Rooster parade. A lot of laughs were had and that is good for the soul! Special mention to Zara McLellan on winning the judges choice and Misty Leigh for taking out the people's choice. Actually I think the ladies may have enjoyed it maybe a little too much!
