2017 Season

Padthaway Budget Note 3/6/17

Tammy Creaser - Saturday, June 03, 2017

So far so close so near once again but can be proud of the efforts by most players even though we could not get over the line in any grades. So we get back up again and have another crack as we trek to Padthaway. Now only if we could have brought that same effort the last few weeks who knows we may have had a couple of wins. So to all player's let's bring our A game and who knows what may happen.

Hayden Heroes came up against a pretty big group but the lads gave a pretty good account of themselves with a much improved effort from the previous week.

Best Players were Ladies Footy voucher Innocent Nkurunziza, Tatiara Industrial Repairs award went to Karl Dahlitz, Jolpac Rural Supplies award Bryson Hinge, Tatiara Driving Training award Billy Whittlesea, Bordertown Fruit Market award Stuart Greenslade, Limestone Coast Freight Award Thomas Belluzzo, Neil & Pam Murch coaches award Jazper Reardon.

Harry Houdini's need to keep working hard. Best players were Ladies Footy Voucher Reagan Tink, Pooles Menswear & Surf award Lachlan Murch, Murch Plumbing & Roofing Award Zac Puckridge, Optimum Cut Award Hayden Shuttleworth, Wickham Flower Award Lincoln Weatherald, Ray White Real Estate Award Will Francis, Blackwell Plumbing Coaches award Ryan Boyd.

Mal's Magicians battled hard and won 2 or more quarters but had a big sleep in the second so once again we need a four quarter effort. One highlight was that it was good to see some old fashion defence perhaps few more should take notice and we might go a whole lot better. Best players were Upper SE Liquid Waste & Creaser Haulage& Bobcat & Ladies Footy award Zac McLellan, Shane Redden Kitchens/Norton Bulk Haulage Award Nick Hampel, Bordertown Pharmacy & Will Inspect David Wurst, Cut Loose hair & Body Lounge Voucher Graeme Twigden, Sport N Moore Award Cam Makin and the coaches encouragement award went to Tate Carson.

Trenners Terriers played their best footy this year to be once again run over in the last. Sorry to hear about Boomer and hopefully he has a speedy recovery it's one thing we don't need is any more injuries. Best Players for the Roosters were Jolpac Rural Supplies /Wise Ford Award Braden Hill, Densley Earthmoving /Wickham Flower Award Jacob Eats, AWE Richards Meat Voucher Brent Shuttleworth, Optimum Cut Hair Voucher Angus Diment, Bordertown Pharmacy Award Sam Devitt coaches encouragement award Ladies Meal Voucher to Jake Verco.

This Saturday night we don our best frock and powder our noses and off to the hall for the cabaret with a night of partying with the Crocodiles. So let's make sure we all get there on time and make it a top night.
