Tammy Creaser - Saturday, June 24, 2017

What a great weekend with all grades getting the chocolates for the first time this year and Trenners Terriers finally putting four quarters together to get over the line for the first time. Finally the young lads have been rewarded for their hard work and persistence. Even better most of the lads turned up for recovery and working bee Sunday morning with some of them looking like they had not been to bed. Though it has been notice some did a bit more than others none the less you were all there.

Hayden Heroes started slow but worked their way into the game finally and coming away with a comfortable win. The young fella's will have to come out strong right from the start to get over the line this week , so let's have a crack!

Harry Houdini's lads had the week off due to the crazy draw but enough said about that so they should be cherry ripe to have a go this week.

Mal's Magicians were back on the winner's list and certainly good to see the coach smiling again after a couple of rough weeks. Trenner's Terriers once again came out switched on and kicked eight goals to set them up for the rest of the day but with Borders not giving up the young lads still managed to win every quarter to get home by 56 points. Best Players for the Roosters were Jolpac Rural Supplies /Wise Ford award Henry Trenorden, Densley Earthmoving /Wickham Flower award Curtis McCarthy, AWE Richards Meat Voucher Josh Searle, Optimum Cut Hair Voucher Jacob Eats, Bordertown Pharmacy award Brodie Foulds, coaches encouragement award Ladies Meal Voucher to Dustin Inglis.

After hour antics, 1 of our leaders showing us how a lead guitarist should do it!! The other 2 leaders showing us how to do the Scorpian..... Maybe we should be having a talent quest night??

On the social front we have Miss Rooster on the 8th July coming up and a Chinese Banquet/ Quiz Night 5th August so let's make sure we get to the club for these functions.

This Saturday we travel to Lucindale so let's put our best foot forward and see if we can get some more wins in both the football and netball!
