Kingston Budget Note 20/5/17

Tammy Creaser - Friday, May 19, 2017

Round 6 and we are off to the seaside where the weather is looking like we don't need to pack the budgie smugglers. Playing Kingston no matter where they are on the ladder always seem to give us some trouble so let's all grades put our best foot forward and make the most of our opportunities that are presented to us with both hands.

Coach Hayden was off to the bush and left the big job to Punk and Bill to get the boys up and the lads certainly gave everyone a scare but finally managed to hold on to win by the one goal. Certainly the young fella's will have to bring better attitude if they are to get over the saints.

Harry also headed west and left the job to the veteran coach Jamie who I'm sure would like to hand the reigns back to Harry after the Cougars gave our boys a footy lesson. Best players were Ladies Footy Voucher Reagan Tink, Pooles Menswear & Surf award Lachlan Makin, Murch Plumbing & Roofing Award Ryan Boyd, Optimum Cut Award Lincoln Weatherald, Wickham Flower Award Hayden Shuttleworth, Ray White Real Estate Award Lachlan Murch, Coaches encouragement Blackwell Plumbing award Seb Trenorden.

Mal's Magicians certainly wanted to give the big fella something to remember after a pretty hard week and winning by sixty two points was certainly a good results especially with the introduction of more youth by a couple of lads playing their first games. Trenners Terrier A's once again showed glimpses of what they can do but need to concentrate for longer periods and must get fitter to run out games better. They were once again in the game at three quarter time.
