2015 Season

8/8/15 Kaniva Leeor Budget Note

Tammy Creaser - Thursday, August 06, 2015

Last week we headed across to Keith and only came away with the solitary win. The senior teams fought hard during periods throughout the day but were unable to play a full 4 quarter game and get the wins on the board. The A grade had a very young side on the park, and it was probably a little surprising to them all to find themselves into the game up-to their eyeballs. Last weeks after hours stuff was a little quite as they are all gearing up for the big beach party in the change rooms tonight. So ladies get your fake tan on, bikini's out and show Roger some skin !!!!!

Tren's little fellas went down to a pretty strong Keith outfit. Finals is almost out of reach so the boys will be out to finish the season off well with a couple of good wins. They have some winnable games ahead so let's get behind them and check out some up and coming talent. Best players were Lachie Makin (Tolmer Takeaway), Lachie Murch (Jolpac), Tyson Leigh (The Optimum Cut), Jamie Francis (Tatiara Industrial Repairs), Seb Trenorden (Limestone Coast Freight), Angus Day (Bordertown Fruit Market).

Johnnie Walkers boys were at it again with another good win. They started a little slowly but were able to finish with a 10 goal win. Best players were Riley Densley (Neil and Pam Murch Award), Harry Fromm (Pooles Menswear), Matt Leigh (Murch Plumbing and Roofing), Tate Carson (Tatiara Driver Training), Tom Pepper (Wickham Flower), Cameron Makin (Ray White).

The magoos were paw paw paw, in the first and found themselves 0-40 at the first break. But were able to re-establish themselves and the margin remained the same throughout the game. Best players were Dan Feder (USE Liquid waste & Creaser Bobcat and Haulage), Brendan Kupke (Redden kitchens, Norton Bulk & Ladies meal voucher), Jarred Creaser (Bordertown Pharmacy & Wild Mulberry), Matt Tink (The Optimum cut), Michael Long (Woolshed Inn), Tom Reynolds (Sport N Moore).

Haysey's boys were very impressive all day and did all involved at the club proud, and with a few of our club leaders away at numerous different engagements the players that took the field should be proud of their efforts. However you don't get 4 points for an honourable loss and they boys need to butter up again and get some wins on the board to sow up the top three spot on the ladder. Best were Matt Tober (Jolpac & Wise Ford), Clint Diment (Densley Earthmoving & Wickham Flower), Billy Hayes (AWE Richards), Kane Cuthbertson (Woolshed Inn), Angus Diment (Cut Loose hair and Body lounge), Brent Shuttleworth (Bordertown Pharmacy).

Today we turn right at the highway and head over to Mexico land. With 4 big games on the field its going to be very important that all sides get the win. Also make sure u get back to the club for the beach party. The clubrooms will be open for some Roger the Rooster's world famous Lasagna and Chips.
