Last weeks trip down the country road to the sleepy town of Kyby saw us return with three good wins with the A grade boys having to fight hard all game to get the game sown up. The after hours work was a scrappy affair, with the comedy night being a great night and old man haysey was surprised with his surprise 50th. Best on last week was Matt Tober after he was in a fight with a barb wire fence and came of second best.
Tren's little fellas keep on trying and are getting close to causing upsets in a few of their games. Best players were Tyson Leigh (Tolmer Takeaway), Lachie Makin (Jolpac), Lachie Murch (The optimum cut), Jamie Francis (Tatiara Industrial Repairs), Seb Trenorden (Limecoast Freight), Joain Tumlos (Bordertown Fruit Market).
Captain Morgan's were good again, with some good players on the sidelines it was a good performance. This week is a top of the table clash and will be a great game to witness to really test both sides. These teams will probably meet next in finals so it's a big game for both teams. Best players were Nick Dahlitz (Niel and Pam Murch Award), Ben Jarrett (Pooles Menswear), Jacob Eats (Murch Plumbing and Roofing), Brodie Foulds (Tatiara Driver training), Harry Fromm (Wickham Flower), Matt Leigh (Ray White).
The magoos were up and about early and slammed home plenty of goals by half time. But a scrappy last half limited the scoring and a wayward Hampster want the lead didn't stretch too far. Best players were Nick Hampel (USE Liquid waste & Creaser Bobcat and haulage), Josh Tink (Redden kitchens, Norton Bulk & Ladies meal voucher), Owen Butler (Bordertown Pharmacy & Wild Mulberry), Cane Forrest (The Optimum cut), Brent Lodewyk (Woolshed Inn), Graeme Twigden (Sport N Moore).
Haysey's boys were pushed up until 3qtr time and were required to come out early in the last to put water on the fire and did just that. Best were Matt Tober (Jolpac & Wise Ford), Gene Robinson (Densley Earthmoving & Wickham Flower), Lochie Eats (AWE Richards), Nick Hewett (Woolshed Inn), Maddy Hayes (Cut Loose hair and Body lounge), Nathan Clark (Bordertown Pharmacy).
Today the demons come on down with what shapes to be a cracking day of football in most grades, let's come away with 4 good wins and celebrate in the clubrooms afterwards. Today's major game day sponsor is Bordertown Pharmacy.
